Balochistan has always faced challenges in education and employment. Many young people dream of a better life but are held back by poverty, lack of opportunities, and limited access to modern skills. DigiBizz, the province’s very first flagship freelance training program, is changing that story. Sponsored by the Government of Balochistan, DigiBizz is a free-of-cost initiative that gives the youth of Balochistan the chance to learn valuable freelancing skills and start earning in dollars from the comfort of their homes.
The program is designed to bring hope, especially in a region where private academies charge huge fees that most families simply cannot afford. DigiBizz removes that barrier by offering high-quality training, world-class trainers, and a support system that transforms students into independent earners and future entrepreneurs.
The Mission and Vision
The main aim of DigiBizz is simple but powerful: to train 2,000 students of Balochistan in freelancing so they can become financially independent. By providing training in three major domains; Digital Marketing and Advertising, Creative Design, and Amazon Web and E-commerce, the program gives young people the tools they need to compete globally. It focuses equally on both male and female students so that no one is left behind in this digital revolution.
So far, DigiBizz has trained over 1,300 students, and the results are remarkable. Together, these students have earned more than $600,000 by working online. This is not just a number; it is a living proof that with the right skills, Balochistan’s youth can change their future and uplift their communities.
Here is a quick look at the target and achievements so far:
| Goal / Result | Number / Amount |
| Students Target (PC-1) | 2,000 |
| Students Trained So Far | 1,300+ |
| Total Student Earnings | $600,000+ |
What Is DigiBizz All About?
- It’s a free program run by the Government of Balochistan. No fees. No worries.
- The goal: train 2,000 students from across Balochistan and help them earn in dollars.
- So far, 1,300+ eager learners have already graduated, and together, they’ve earned over USD 600,000. That’s a LOT of dreams turning into dollars!
Training Centers Across Balochistan
DigiBizz is not limited to one location. In Quetta, four main centers are actively running. These are BUITEMS, University of Balochistan, Girls College Cantt, and the ITTI main center. At these centers, students attend physical classes with trainers who guide them through every step of their freelancing journey.
For students outside Quetta, DigiBizz has also spread into districts like Loralai, Sibi, Zhob, and ISDP. In these areas, classes are conducted virtually, ensuring that even the most remote learners are not left out of this opportunity. This hybrid model of learning, both in-person and online, makes DigiBizz accessible to all.
| Location Type | Areas Covered | Mode |
| Physical Centers | BUITEMS, University of Balochistan, Girls College Cantt, ITTI Main Center (Quetta) | In-person |
| Virtual Classes | Loralai, Sibi, Zhob, ISDP, and other districts | Online |
Trainers Who Inspire Confidence
Only the best! Trainers and Master Trainers are successful freelancers themselves; they’ve been in your shoes, they know the ropes, and they’re here to guide you with real-world brilliance.
What makes DigiBizz different from other programs is its trainers. All trainers are professional freelancers themselves, with years of experience in the digital marketplace. They are not just teachers, but role models who have already walked the path of freelancing success.
Because of this, students learn not just theory but practical tips and strategies that actually work in the real world. This approach builds confidence and ensures that learners can see freelancing as a real, proven career path.
A Strong Focus on Women’s Empowerment
DigiBizz champions women’s empowerment, and the Girls College Cantt center is just for female learners, a bold sign of inclusion and support.
Balochistan has long faced challenges in giving women equal opportunities, but DigiBizz is working to change that. One of its biggest achievements is establishing a dedicated training center for women, the Girls’ College Cantt. This center allows women to learn in a safe, supportive environment where they can focus on building their skills without barriers.
This strong focus on women’s empowerment makes DigiBizz stand out. While many national programs also train women, DigiBizz has made it a central part of its mission from the very beginning. In a society where women often struggle to access education and employment, DigiBizz is opening new doors and showing families that daughters, just like sons, can contribute to the household income.
Free of Cost: A Real Lifeline
Private academies in Balochistan often charge high fees for freelancing courses, sometimes reaching tens of thousands of rupees. For many families, this is impossible to afford. DigiBizz, however, is completely free of cost, thanks to the support of the Government of Balochistan. This single fact makes DigiBizz a lifeline for thousands of young people who would otherwise never get the chance to learn such valuable skills.
In comparison, national-level programs such as Digiskills have trained millions of students and generated huge earnings across Pakistan. However, with such large numbers, personal attention and gender-specific support can sometimes be limited. DigiBizz, although smaller in size, offers personalized guidance, equal participation for women, and dedicated centers that focus specifically on the unique needs of Balochistan’s youth.
Nationally, platforms like digiskills.pk have trained over 3 million students, earning freelancers an estimated $290 million between 2021–22. But only 28% of learners are women, highlighting a gender imbalance.
DigiBizz, though smaller, is leaning into female participation from Day One, with female-exclusive centers and active inclusion. That’s progress with purpose!
A Program Built on Discipline and Structure
DigiBizz also ensures that students take the program seriously. Admission is given through an online test and an interview. The course runs for about four months, during which students are expected to attend classes regularly, complete assignments, and actively engage in the training. Those who do not meet these requirements may be removed from the program. This structure keeps the standard of learning high and motivates students to give their best.
The program is managed by a professional team including a Program Director, Monitoring and Evaluation Officers, Master Trainers, Trainers, and a Freelance Execution Cell (FEC) that keeps everything running smoothly. This organized framework shows that DigiBizz is not just another project but a serious effort to build the digital future of Balochistan.
The Bigger Picture
While Pakistan as a whole has seen freelancing become a major source of income, with programs like Digiskills helping freelancers generate billions of dollars, Balochistan has always lagged. DigiBizz is closing that gap. It is smaller in scale but bigger in heart, and its results show that even with fewer resources, life-changing impact can be achieved when the right vision and support come together.
DigiBizz is not just a program; it is a movement. It is about giving hope where there was none, creating opportunities where doors were closed, and showing that the youth of Balochistan can stand tall in the global freelance market.
Program Structure & Governance
It’s managed by dedicated roles: Program Director, M&E Officer, Master Trainers, Trainers, and supported by a Freelance Execution Cell (FEC).
Training lasts about 4 months, with selection based on online tests and interviews. Trainees must attend sessions, complete assignments, and engage actively, or face removal.
In the Words of the Leaders
The Chief Minister of Balochistan has called DigiBizz “a milestone” and a key part of building a self-reliant, digitally capable generation.
